8. Jamal Mashburn (24.1 PPG in 1994/95)
This one time All-Star boasted a 19 ppg career average and scored 20 or more ppg for three separate teams. Jamal is super underrated! You ask 10 fans who were born in the 2000s, and they’ll have no clue who he was.
But if you ask someone who was old enough to remember Mash, he was known for big part of an amazing scoring trio early in his career with Jason Kidd and Jimmy Jackson before it all imploded (another story for another day). Jamal was a big bodied small forward who got it done in various ways, a very crafty scorer.
He’s higher on our list than Sprewell because of consistency over his career. Jamal has many Hornets scoring records and as a Maverick, he was the 4th youngest player ever to drop 50 in a game.
